Naafi Pay

Customer Portal

The Customer Portal is the self-service interface your buyers use to view receipts, download invoices, manage active subscriptions, update payment methods, and request refunds — all without contacting your support team. It lives on your branded storefront (or custom domain) and authenticates customers with a passwordless magic link sent to their email. There is nothing for you to build: the portal is generated automatically for every customer who has ever paid you and stays in sync with their payment history.

How customers sign in

From the portal home page the customer enters the email they used for any past payment. NaafiPay emails a magic link that signs them in for 24 hours on the device that opened the link. The token is delivered in the URL fragment (the part after #), so it is never logged by intermediate web servers and never forwarded in Referer headers.

What customers can do

  • Download receipts and tax invoices for every past payment
  • View a real-time payment history with status and method
  • Manage subscriptions — pause, resume, cancel, change plan
  • Update saved card or default MFS wallet
  • Request a refund on eligible payments
  • Update billing email and contact details
TipBrand the portal
The portal inherits the colour, logo, and tagline from your storefront brand settings. No additional configuration is needed. If you have a custom domain configured, the portal is served from portal.yourbrand.com automatically.

Refund workflow

When a customer requests a refund, you receive an email and an in-dashboard notification. You can approve, partially approve, or decline the request. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within one business day for MFS and up to seven business days for cards. The customer sees the refund status update in real time on the portal.

WarningRefund eligibility window
By default, customers can only request refunds on payments captured in the last 90 days. You can extend or shorten this window in Settings → Refund Policy. Subscription payments older than the current billing period are always read-only.

Disabling the portal

If your business model does not need a customer portal — for example, a one-off ticket sale — you can disable it entirely under Settings → Customer Portal. Customers still receive receipt emails, but cannot self-service refunds or subscription changes.
