Provider Payout Records

A payout is a deposit made by your bank, MFS or third-party payment provider into your own account. NaafiPay does not capture payments, hold funds or make payouts on your behalf. This page explains how to record provider payout schedules, reconcile deposits against individual payment records, and investigate a delayed payout with the relevant provider.

Payout cycle

Payout timing is determined by your bank, MFS or third-party payment provider. NaafiPay can organize the references and status those providers make available, but it does not control when funds move. Check the connected provider's terms for its schedule, weekends and holiday delays.

Provider fees

  • MFS transaction fees are determined by the selected MFS provider
  • Card processing fees are determined by the selected acquiring provider
  • Bank transfer fees are determined by the relevant bank
  • Refund and payout fees, if any, follow the provider's terms

Any processing or payout fees are charged by the relevant provider under its terms. Where fee data is available, NaafiPay can record it beside each payment and expose it in the dashboard and the fees field of the API response.

Reconciliation

Each recorded provider payout can have a unique payout_id and a downloadable CSV report listing related payment records, gross amount, recorded fee and net amount. Compare the report with the deposit in your own provider account from Reports → Payouts → Download CSV.

TipMatch by metadata
If you pass an order_id in the metadata field of each checkout, that value appears in the payout CSV. Reconciling against your order management system becomes a one-line VLOOKUP in a spreadsheet.

Limits

Transaction and payout limits are set by the relevant bank, MFS or third-party payment provider. Review that provider's current limits and account requirements before going live.

WarningHoliday-period delays
Banks and payment providers may delay deposits during weekends, holidays or service interruptions. Check the relevant provider's notices when planning cash flow.

If a payout is missing

If a payout record shows as sent but has not arrived in your bank, contact the relevant payment provider with its trace reference. NaafiPay support can help you locate the recorded reference, but the provider controls and settles the funds.
