Invoices & Payment Links
Not every merchant wants to integrate an API. Invoices and Payment Links are the no-code way to collect money on NaafiPay. An invoice is a one-off, customer-specific document with a fixed amount and a due date. A payment link is a reusable URL that accepts any number of payments, optionally with a preset amount or with the amount chosen by the payer. Both are sent over WhatsApp, SMS, email, or social media in the usual way, and both feed the same dashboard, reporting, and webhook pipeline as API payments.
Creating an invoice
Go to Dashboard → Invoices → New Invoice. Fill in the customer name, email, amount, currency, and optional due date. Add as many line items as you need, each with a description and unit price. NaafiPay automatically calculates VAT if you have enabled it in your tax settings. Click Send and the customer receives the invoice as a branded email with a one-click payment button.
Creating a payment link
Go to Dashboard → Payment Links → New Link. Give it a name (for example “Course bundle”), choose whether the amount is fixed or chosen by the payer, optionally set inventory limits, and click Create. You get a short URL like https://naafipay.app/p/course-bundle that you can share anywhere.
Fields you can configure
- Title — shown at the top of the hosted checkout
- Description — markdown supported, shown under the title
- Amount — fixed (BDT 1500) or customer-chosen with optional min and max
- Inventory — total stock for limited drops (optional)
- Per-customer limit — prevents one customer paying multiple times (optional)
- Custom fields — collect extra data such as t-shirt size or class section
- Success URL — where to send the customer after payment
Receipts and reminders
Every paid invoice and payment generates a branded receipt PDF that is emailed to the customer and stored on the customer's portal. For unpaid invoices, NaafiPay sends polite reminder emails on day 1, day 3, and day 7 by default. You can customise the cadence or disable reminders per invoice.
metadata field is for. Metadata stays on the server side and is included in webhook payloads.Bulk imports
If you have a list of customers to bill, upload a CSV under Invoices → Import. NaafiPay generates one invoice per row and queues them for delivery. A typical run sends 1,000 invoices in under two minutes.
